After years defending President Donald Trump and investigating potential corruption in Ukraine – and being passed up as a Senate impeachment trial manager for the president – Rudy Giuliani now says he would love to be a witness.

"I would love to see a trial," Giuliani told Sunday's "The Cats Roundtable" on 970 AM-N.Y., according to The Hill. "I'd love to be a witness — because I'm a potential witness in the trial — and explain to everyone the corruption that I found in Ukraine, that far out-surpasses any that I've ever seen before, involving Joe Biden and a lot of other Democrats."

While many critics of the president see Giuliani as part of the problem and a root cause for two House Democrats articles of impeachment – abuse of power and obstruction of Congress – Giuliani has long argued his actions in Ukraine were intended to defend his client during special counsel Robert Mueller's investigation and investigate allegations of corruption in Ukraine.

Democrats had sought to investigate potential 2016 election meddling when it involved Russia assisting then-candidate Trump, but Giuliani said they do not want to hear about allegations involving Ukraine's potential involvement.

"I have those facts," Giuliani host John Catsimatidis, per The Hill. "I have those witnesses. I have documents, and I have recordings. And I would love to get them out in public, because everyone is trying to suppress them to protect Joe Biden."
