Allegations that Georgia District Attorney Fani Willis hired a romantic partner, Nathan Wade, to prosecute former President Donald Trump and that he'd used funds his law firm received to take vacations with her point to actions that are "as illegal as you can possibly imagine," former Trump attorney Rudy Giuliani, said on Newsmax Sunday.
Giuliani is also named in the Fulton County case.
"They were bilking the state for money," Giuliani commented on Newsmax's "Sunday Agenda." "There was no reason for the first grand jury … everyone wondered. Why was there a first grand jury? They couldn't indict? I've never heard of a grand jury that couldn't indict so they essentially did it twice. They went through one whole big proceeding, and then they did it a second time."
And that, Giuliani said, was like law firms that "double and triple the discovery so that they can bilk you for money. That produced lots of cash for her and him so they could go on, I count, six vacations."
Giuliani said he's "personally angry" because the "two people who framed me, while they're making up crimes about me, they're stealing money from the state and federal government so they can go on with whatever they're doing."
But that is "the height of hypocrisy" and it "typifies the Democrat Party for the last five years," he said. "You can't tell me this wasn't collaborated."
Wade, he added, was charging for visits to the White House "to coordinate the persecution of Giuliani and Trump."
Meanwhile, Trump is facing charges in four separate cases, but they are all one case brought to keep him from becoming president, said Giuliani.
"It goes back to Hillary Clinton violating the law to create the Russian collusion allegation" or "covering up the hard drive" to fix the election, said Giuliani.
"The American people have just got to come to the realization that these people are massive crooks," he said. "We've never had anything like this in America. They're evil people."
