President Donald Trump's former chief strategist Steve Bannon is heading to Alabama to campaign for former Alabama Supreme Court Justice Roy Moore in his bid for the U.S. Senate, Axios reported Saturday.

Also on stage at the "Faith and Family" rally taking place in Mobile on Monday will be Phil Robertson of "Duck Dynasty" fame.

Moore tweeted Saturday that he was "Thrilled to have Breitbart executive chairman Steve Bannon join our Faith & Family Rally w/ Phil Robertson."

The rally will be three days after President Donald Trump visited the state to campaign for Moore's opponent, Sen. Luther Strange. Though Trump provided a detailed case at Friday's rally for voting for Strange, he said he would campaign for whichever Republican candidate prevailed in the primary on Tuesday.

Former White House adviser Sebastian Gorka and former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin campaigned for Moore on Thursday, according to Axios.

Bannon returned to his former position as head of Breitbart News after resigning from the Trump administration last month. Axios reported several senior Breitbart editors would also be in attendance at the rally.
