Rep. Ron DeSantis released an ad for his Florida gubernatorial campaign on Monday teaching his child to "build the wall" with blocks to show his support for President Donald Trump.
"Everyone knows my husband Ron DeSantis is endorsed by President Trump," DeSantis's wife, Casey, says at the start of the 30-second spot, The Orlando Sentinel reports. "But he's also an amazing dad.
"Ron loves playing with the kids."
The ad then shows DeSantis, whom Trump endorsed last month, encouraging his daughter to "build the wall" as she places blocks on top of each other.
He then reads "The Art of The Deal" to his infant son while later teaching his daughter to talk by saying "Make America Great Again."
The spot ends by showing DeSantis' son in a red onesie with Trump's slogan emblazoned in white letters.
"People say Ron is all Trump, but he is so much more," Casey DeSantis says as the commercial ends. "I just thought you should know."
The couple has been married since 2010.
DeSantis plans to air the advertisement statewide on Tuesday — and his campaign did not disclose specifics of the ad buy, the Sentinel reports.
Ron DeSantis, who was first elected to the U.S. House in 2012, is facing Florida Agriculture Commissioner Adam Putnam in an Aug. 28 primary.
They are vying to succeed term-limited Republican Gov. Rick Scott, who is seeking to unseat Democratic Sen. Bill Nelson in the fall.
DeSantis currently leads Putnam by 12 points, the Sentinel reports.
