A man was tackled by Capitol Police in the hallway outside the Robert Mueller congressional hearings Wednesday, witnesses told Newsmax.
The man, who witnesses described as of Asian descent, had been interrupting media interviews.
After being told to stop his interruptions, the man was bumped into Capitol Police around 2:40 p.m., who then tackled him, yelling "get to the ground!"
Witnesses also told Newsmax the man was screaming about his father, Russia, and China as he was being detained by police.
As a swarm of reporters and cameras surrounded the man, Capitol Police asked for space and took the man into custody shortly after.
