NBC’s “TODAY” show will release an interview with publicist Rob Goldstone on Monday, where he will unveil new details about the meeting at Trump Tower that he arranged.

Goldstone, who set up the meeting between members of President Donald Trump’s 2016 campaign and Russian nationals, spoke with NBC News senior legal and investigative correspondent Cynthia McFadden about the meeting he set up in June 2016.

Goldstone sent an email to Trump’s son, Donald Trump Jr., at the beginning of the month to inform him of some “very high level” info that “is part of Russia and its government’s support for Mr. Trump,” according to The Washington Post.

“So you would agree with the intelligence officials, both past and present, who say that this was most likely a Russian probe to the Trump campaign?” McFadden asks Goldstone, in a clip released on Friday.

“I mean, I can't say that definitively,” Goldstone replies, adding that he’s “willing to believe that I don't know who wanted this meeting,” and agreeing that “it was a dirty offer that they accepted.”

“Yes,” he says. “That is true, that didn't materialize, but yes, it's the willingness to accept it.”
