The Republican Party has selected 22 high-end vendors, mom-and-pop shops, and veteran start-ups to hawk souvenirs and mementos
at next month's presidential convention.
"[They] will be featured in the Convention's Freedom Marketplace in addition to the official GOP store," the RNC said in a statement.
"The Freedom Marketplace is new to this year's Convention and will give delegates and guests the opportunity to find unique mementos to bring the Convention home. Many [of the vendors] are veteran, millennial, or family owned businesses."
One of the sellers is Timmy Woods of Beverly Hills, which offers fashionable handbags, including a Trump model for $400
Also on hand will be Smathers and Branson, a clothing and accessories firm, which offers $165 handcrafted needlepoint belts
, many featuring patriotic themes.
Gift company Mulholland and Sachs sells an embroidered throw pillow
featuring Cleveland's top attractions for $168.
Flags of Valor is a company owned and operated by veterans who make replicas of historic American flags on wood, including one called the "Omaha Beach" for $399
There's also Future Female Leaders, which describes itself as "America's leading social movement for young, conservative women" and sells Republican-themed, elephant dresses for $36.99
Malley's Chocolates of Cleveland is selling a "Greetings from Cleveland," a nuts and chocolate assortment for $37.25
In addition to the vendors, there will also be an official GOP merchandise store
, which will sell, hats, buttons, bow ties, beer glasses, shirts — and even "Special-Edition George H.W. Bush Socks."
