RNC Uses Humor to Attack Obamacare

By    |   Tuesday, 12 November 2013 03:07 PM

The Republican National Committee has created a new set of humorous Internet ads taking aim at Obamacare.

The spots are a takeoff of the old "PC vs. Mac" spots. A slovenly looking actor named "Obamacare" appears with his well-dressed friend "The Private Sector."

Story continues below video.

In one ad, Obamacare says, "You can keep your plan. You can keep your doctor. Lower premiums for everyone!"

The Private Sector responds, "Actually, that's a lie."

Obamacare says, "I know, but I want people to like me."

The Private Sector: "You could try telling them the truth?"

Obamacare: "No, that will never work."

The ads will appear on ESPN and Comedy Central YouTube pages in college towns, the RNC says. The RNC put out a group of similar ads in late October, The Hill reports.
