A day after hitting the "reset" button with power players from the five major networks, Donald Trump will reportedly head to Midtown Manhattan to meet staff and editors at his frequent Twitter target, the "failing" and "dishonest" New York Times.

The president-elect has set aside Tuesday to give Times reporters and editorial columnists a chance to question him on the record during a visit to the newspaper's headquarters, according to the Huffington Post.

Trump will first, however, meet privately with a small group at the paper, including publisher Arthur Sulzberger Jr., per the report.

The sit-down follows Monday's off-the-record gathering at Trump Tower for stars and bosses from the five networks – whose comings and goings were seen by C-SPAN's camera located in the building's lobby, the Huffington Post reported.

"It was very cordial, very productive, very congenial," senior adviser Kellyanne Conway told reporters in the lobby, the Washington Post reported. "It was also very candid and very honest. From my own perspective, it's great to hit the reset button. It was a long, hard-fought campaign."
