Forty-eight percent of likely voters approve of President Donald Trump's job performance, while 51 percent disapprove, according to a Rasmussen Reports daily presidential tracking poll.

The president's daily approval ratings have been running between as 45-49 percent in February, according to Rasmussen.

A year ago, Trump's approval stood at 51 percent with 49 percent disapproving.

Meanwhile, a Rasmussen Reports survey released Thursday found 34 percent of people believe the president has too much power, while 12 percent think he does not have enough power and 47 percent say the president holds about the right amount of power.

The daily tracking poll surveyed 500 likely voters. The margin of error is plus or minus 2.5 percentage points.
