Only 36 percent of the public realizes that Obamacare's individual mandate was repealed, a new Kaiser Health Tracking Poll reveals.

  • 42 percent say they want Congress to keep funding welfare programs at the same level; 32 percent want the spending decreased and 24 percent favored an increase.
  • 47 percent say they want Congress to keep funding Medicaid at the same level, while 38 percent want spending increased and 12 percent want a decrease.
  • 46 percent say they want Congress to keep funding Medicare at the same level, compared to 45 percent who want increased spending and 7 percent who want a decrease.

The poll, conducted Jan. 16-21, sampled 1,215 adults. It has a margin of error of plus or minus 3 percentage points.
