Poll: Lindsey Graham Holds Slim 2-Point Lead Over Dem Challenger

Forty-seven percent of likely voters in South Carolina favor Republican Sen. Lindsey Graham over Democratic challenger Jaime Harrison, who is backed by 45%, a new Change Research/Post and Courier poll reveals.

Here are how the poll results, released Thursday, break down:

  • 38% view Graham very or somewhat favorably.
  • 53% view him very or somewhat unfavorably.
  • 7% were neutral.

The poll, conducted Dec. 6-11, surveyed 998 likely general election voters. The margin of error is plus or minus 3.1 percentage points.
