Connecticut Gov. Ned Lamont, a Democrat, came out ahead of his Republican challenger Bob Stefanowski in the latest gubernatorial poll from Gravis Marketing.

In a poll of under 700 people, Lamont garnered 46 percent of the vote, Stefanowski 37 percent, independent candidate Oz Griebel took in 9 percent, and 8 percent remain undecided. The governor has outpaced Stefanowski for most of the election, but his lead was halved in a poll released earlier this week by Quinnipiac University.

About three out of every four Democrats plans to vote for Lamont, as do about half of women in the state. Stefanowski performed well with Republicans, reaching 72 percent, but only drew 33 percent of female voters. Male voters were split, 43 percent for Lamont and 40 percent of Stefanowski.

Gravis polled 681 likely voters in Connecticut from Oct. 30-Nov. 1, with a margin of error of 3.8 percentage points.
