Vice President Mike Pence will maintain a “very aggressive schedule” and has no intention of slowing down ahead of the Nov. 3 election, top campaign adviser Marc Short told reporters Monday, according to The Hill.
Pence will travel at least five days a week and attend two campaign rallies a day in the next 15 days.
Democrat presidential nominee Joe Biden holds a lead over President Donald Trump in nearly every national poll and leads in 10 of 12 swing states. But Trump has regained a slight polling average lead in Ohio and taken a big chunk of out of Biden’s leads in Pennsylvania and Minnesota.
Pence will visit Pennsylvania twice this week and will also travel to the state next week. The vice president will also travel to New Hampshire, Ohio, Michigan, and Florida this week and attend a rally in Indiana, his home state, this Thursday.
“I think it’s in stark contrast to what we’re seeing out of the Harris-Biden campaign and the limited travel and events that they’re doing,” Short told reporters Monday.
