Rand Paul’s PAC Runs Ads for Mack, Raese

Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul’s political action committee said Tuesday they will begin running television ads for the Republican Senate candidates in Florida and West Virginia.

RAND PAC’s 60-second ads support Rep. Connie Mack IV in his battle against Sen. Bill Nelson in Florida and John Raese in his challenge to Sen. Joe Manchin in West Virginia. The ads focus on the Democratic incumbents’ votes to approve billions of dollars in new foreign aid to Islamist regimes in Libya, Egypt, and Pakistan, the PAC said.

“Unfortunately, Senators Bill Nelson and Joe Manchin have stood with President Obama and against the American taxpayer to continue sending foreign aid to these very countries,” Paul said in a statement.

“Connie Mack and John Raese will instead stand up for American taxpayers and values. They will stand with me in the fight to end this dangerous and abusive foreign aid,” Paul said, promising to do “everything I can” to help them win in November.
