Supporters of Obamacare are set to launch a campaign calling on people to sign up for insurance, in the hopes that their campaign will counteract the cancellation of outreach regarding enrollment that have been made by President Donald Trump's administration, Axios reported.

The campaign, Get America Covered, will launch Wednesday.

Outside groups are hoping to fill in the gap left by the administration's cancellations, since Obamacare only works if people are signed up, according to Axios.

The campaign is launching with a six-figure budget that could increase. The staff of the campaign includes people who worked on enrollment for the program in then-president Barack Obama's Health and Human Services Department.

Co-founder Lori Lodes said that the campaign would focus on partnerships with employers and community organizations, Axios reported.

The campaign will include digital ads, but not TV commercials. National co-chairs of the group include Democratic activist Van Jones, actress Alyssa Milano and actor Bradley Whitford.

Sen. Lamar Alexander, R-Tenn., is attempting to negotiate a stabilization package for Obamacare with Sen. Patty Murray, D-Wash., which will include two years of Obamacare subsidies, according to a Tuesday report in The Hill.
