Nigel Farage, leader of the U.K. Independence Party (UKIP), will address this year's Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) convention, Breitbart.com
"I am very excited to be coming to speak to so many freedom-loving individuals at CPAC this year – and I consider it an honor to do so," Farage said.
"In Britain, we are fighting against the creation of a client-state, against rampant corporatism, against a career political class that services vested interests and has forgotten about the world outside of their cozy, Westminster bubble," he said. "I understand that in the United States, the fight isn't all that different."
Farage said he looks forward to discussing how conservatives on both sides of the Atlantic can "refuse to simply'‘manage decline' and how we can alter the trajectory of our once great nations."
CPAC will hold its annual meeting Feb. 25-28 at Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center in National Harbor, Maryland.
Other speakers include possible 2016 GOP presidential contenders, such as former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, Texas Sen. Ted Cruz, former Texas Gov. Rick Perry, Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker, Dr. Ben Carson, Indiana Gov. Mike Pence, former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, former Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorum, Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul, real estate mogul Donald Trump and former Hewlett-Packard CEO Carly Fiorina.
