Hearkening back to the "lock her up" aimed at Hillary Clinton over her deleted e-mails, President Donald Trump's supporters in New Hampshire used the chant to rake House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., over her State of the Union behavior.
As Trump continued to celebrate the Senate's acquittal of two House Democrats' articles of impeachment, he laced Pelosi for her antics during his State of the Union address last week.
"I had somebody behind me who was mumbling terribly, mumbling, mumbling," Trump told the raucous rally crowd at Southern New Hampshire University on Monday night, calling it "very distracting, very distracting."
He did not make mention of how, at the address' conclusion, Pelosi tore up her copy of the speech – which had led some to suggest the destruction of a congressional document was unlawful.
Trump's remarks prompted the crowd to break out into the same "Lock her up!!" chant that his supporters directed at Hillary four years ago.
Trump shook his head "no," before continuing to rebuke Pelosi's "anger back there."
"We're the ones that should be angry," Trump said. "Not them."
