President Donald Trump's loyalty to his staff is being questioned by House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., who said Tuesday that White House staffers should be prepared to "get thrown overboard," on CNN's "New Day."
"If you want a job at the White House, know your blood type because you're going to get thrown overboard at some point," the former House speaker said.
Trump recently took aim at the Justice Department, criticizing the DOJ for straying from his vision on his executive order banning travel from certain Muslim-majority countries.
The New York Times reported Tuesday that Trump has "grown sour" on Attorney General Jeff Sessions, and blames him for his administration's problems. His communications director, Michael Dubke, resigned last week after three months on the job. Unnamed sources told NBC News last month that Trump is considering a major staff overhaul.
Pelosi added that if the staff reach a breaking point "it will be interesting to see how he reacts to their reaction to him," though she doubted it would impact his behavior.
"He doesn't care, as long as we're talking about him — good, bad or indifferent," she said.
