House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., ripped into Attorney General Jeff Sessions' decision to rescind a policy that discouraged enforcement of federal marijuana laws in states that had legalized pot and called it "shameful."

Her comments came Thursday in a tweet.

The New York Times said Session's decision threatens to undermine the legalization movement that has already spread to six states.
