Mike Bloomberg might add Hillary Clinton to his big-budget Democratic presidential primary campaign against President Donald Trump, according to Drudge report.

The report cites sources close to the Bloomberg campaign suggesting their polling found a Bloomberg-Clinton ticket would be a "formidable force."

Bloomberg is also weighing changing his official home residence to one of his homes in Colorado or Florida, since the Electoral College makes it challenging for a president and a vice president in being from the same state, according to the report.

Fox News reported that the Bloomberg campaign's communications director, Jason Schechter, did not confirm or deny the report, saying in a statement, "We are focused on the primary and the debate, not VP speculation."

While Clinton did lose the Electoral College to Trump in 2016, she did receive around 3 million more votes in the general election, capitalizing on the Democratic voter bases in large blue states such as New York and California.

Clinton had rejected the notion she would be considered as anyone's running mate in a Feb. 6 interview with Ellen DeGeneres on the  "Ellen" show.

"Well, that's not going to happen, but, no, probably not," Clinton told DeGeneres, who said she could not know "that's not gonna happen."

"I think I do," Clinton said. "Yeah, I think I do" know it won't happen.

"It's like when Barack Obama asked me to be secretary of state. I was shocked. I had no idea he was gonna ask me, and I turned him down twice."

Clinton then said relented because should would have wanted Obama to serve if she had asked.

"So, I never say never because I do believe in serving my country, but it's not gonna happen."
