Democratic presidential front-runner Hillary Clinton is currently facing some tough battles, but conservative pundit Michael Reagan doesn't want to see her leave the race, he tells Newsmax TV.

His reason is simple: She's beatable.

"I still want her on that ticket because she's really beatable in November 2016," Reagan told hosts J.D. Hayworth and Miranda Khan on Wednesday's "Newsmax Prime."

"Of course, we just had 27,000 people out here for Bernie Sanders the other night in California," Reagan said. "Welcome the nutsy, cuckoo country club where I live."

The Clintons "seem to never get it," he said, with the former secretary of state putting off any responsibility for sending classified material over her private server on her aides.

"She'll find someone to blame other than herself for this," he said.

Richard Nixon eventually fell during Watergate because members of his own party came out against him, but Democrats are not treating Clinton the same way, Reagan said.

"If this would've happened to a Republican or like [Gen. David] Petraeus it'd be all over the news," he said. "But it's the Clintons who seem to always to get a pass, and maybe America is finally catching up to it."

Reagan was encouraged that MSNBC had House Select Committee on Benghazi Chairman Trey Gowdy on Wednesday to discuss Clinton's server.

"If anything MSNBC has been uplifting the liberals, uplifting Hillary Clinton on anything, everything she's ever done," he said, adding that he'd like to see the major network newscasts also talk to Gowdy.

Former Florida Attorney General Bill McCollum also appeared on the segment, saying he expects a nonpolitical approach to the email server case.

"I'd like to believe based on my experience that these folks are objective," he said. "Most of the U.S. attorneys I know are."
