Attorney Michael Avenatti has been “forced” to make his Twitter account private due to harassment from "bots and Trump trolls" over his representing a woman who he claims has evidence of Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh’s alleged sexual misconduct.

“I was just forced to make my account private because the bots and Trump trolls are out in full force due to my representation re Kavanaugh,” Avenatti said in a tweet, according to Heavy. “I will change this back as soon as I am able.”

He told the website, “We will never be intimidated. If anything, the attacks just fuel us further.”

Avenatti said on Sunday that Kavanaugh’s nomination “should be withdrawn,” and that the situation “is only going to get worse,” and saying his client is prepared to provide evidence that Kavanaugh and others perpetuated a series of “gang rapes” in Washington, D.C. during the 1980’s.

One Twitter user noted that the website Bot Sentinel, which identifies bots and troll accounts, appears to show that Avenatti was targeted.
