President Donald Trump is not a fan of the state of New York’s reopening plan.

In a Wednesday morning tweet, the president wrote, “New York State is killing small businesses.”

He then called for small businesses to be allowed to “properly open” and tagged Fox News' "Fox and Friends" show.

New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo launched a four-phase reopening plan as a way to safely restart the economy after the coronavirus lockdown.

All regions of the state, except New York City, are in phase two of the reopening plan. The city, which was hit hard by the virus outbreak, is in phase one.

Phase two still keeps malls, bars, indoor dining, gyms and other businesses shuttered, according to the plan.
