Donald Trump Jr. followed up on his father's support of Kanye West and rebuke of "Saturday Night Live," ripping the show after West was allegedly "bullied backstage" for wearing a MAGA hat, saying "the left isn't tolerant" of different viewpoints.
"Is anyone even a little bit shocked that @kanyewest was bullied backstage for wanting to wear a #maga hat on SNL?" Trump Jr. tweeted Sunday night. "Despite the BS they preach, the left isn't tolerant of any view that differs even slightly from their own.
"You obey or you're out."
Trump Jr.'s tweet followed his retweet of Investor's Business Daily editorial view "it took more guts [for West] to do that than any trite anti-Trump rant."
"True story," Trump Jr. tweeted. "There's no risk or penalty for following the Hollywood sheeple and ranting against Trump."
President Donald Trump also ripped "SNL" as being "no longer funny" and "just a political ad for the Dems" in his own Twitter rejection of West's treatment by liberals for being a supportor and "leading the charge."
"Like many, I don't watch Saturday Night Live (even though I past hosted it) – no longer funny, no talent or charm," President Trump tweeted Sunday. "It is just a political ad for the Dems. Word is that Kanye West, who put on a MAGA hat after the show (despite being told "no"), was great. He’s leading the charge!"
Intolerance of Trump supporters reached a new low Monday, as a CNN host went so far to ask if it was "time to start worrying" about West for his "SNL" rant Saturday, as The Hill reported.
