Republicans have attacked Jon Ossoff as out-of-touch because of his alleged ties to House minority leader Nancy Pelosi, but the Democrat running in the most expensive House race in U.S. history says he still hasn't given "an ounce of thought," to whether he would vote for Pelosi to lead the caucus, The Washington Free Beacon reports.

Ossoff, running against Republican Karen Handel in Georgia's special congressional election, has instead bucked the questions about Pelosi to talk about his campaign and how he would not support raising income taxes, even for the wealthy, and how he opposes "any move" toward a single-payer healthcare system.

On April 20 he told CNN he was "focused on winning an election here in Georgia's 6th District," and not a "leadership contest that's at least a year-and-a-half away," when asked about Pelosi and last Sunday told The New York Times he hadn't given an "ounce of thought" to whether he would vote for Pelosi.

"Jon Ossoff is all in for Nancy Pelosi's agenda of bigger government, higher spending and more taxes that is crushing Americans' pocketbooks," CLF Executive Director Corry Bliss said in a statement, according to The Washington Post. "Hispanic families will hear just how liberal, out-of-touch and wholly unfit Jon Ossoff is to represent Georgia's 6th District."

Ossoff isn't biting on TV ads linking him to Pelosi and neither is Pelosi.
