Ohio Gov. John Kasich will reportedly attend President-elect Donald Trump's inauguration after a contentious campaign during which he opposed him.

Kasich, who was one of Trump's 16 challengers in the Republican race for president, did not vote for Trump in the election — he opted instead to write in Arizona Sen. John McCain.  According to the Cincinnati Enquirer,  however, Kasich will be at the U.S. Capitol Jan. 20 to witness Trump being sworn in as the nation's 45th president.

Also attending the inauguration will be former President Bill Clinton and his wife Hillary,  along with former President George W. Bush and his wife Laura.  Former President Jimmy Carter will also be there.
