Trump campaign senior adviser Jason Miller on Sunday declared the president is all for the election to proceed Nov. 3, seeking to tamp down criticism of a tweet suggesting the vote date ought to be delayed because of concerns about fraud.
In an interview on “Fox News Sunday,” Miller denied the commander in chief was in favor of any kind of delay.
"The election is going to be on November 3. President Trump wants the election on November 3,” Miller said.
He also sought to dispel any suggestion there would be foreign help with the Trump campaign, an issue that dogged his early administration.
“[W]e’re going to beat Joe Biden fair and square here, absolutely,” Miller said, adding: “There is no foreign assistance that’s happening in this campaign."
