Ivanka Trump donated $50,000 to a Texas megachurch in support of its campaign to care for migrant children separated from their families at the border, CBN News first reported.

Ivanka made the contribution last week to Prestonwood Baptist Church in Plano after seeing Pastor Jack Graham's tweet about the efforts.

Graham thanked Ivanka for the donation during Sunday church service, CBN News reported.

"I've had the opportunity to meet with Ivanka Trump a number of times over the last year, and I've been struck by her kindness and concern for those in need," Graham told CBN News.

"So, it wasn't that surprising to know she would want to help these families. But I certainly never expected to hear from her after a simple tweet."
