An email chain purportedly showing Hunter Biden's ties to China's largest private energy company, which included a promise to pay Biden $10 million a year "for introductions alone," have been verified by a person in the thread, reports Fox News.
Additionally, the source confirmed "the big guy" mentioned in an email as a person who should receive 10% of the proposed business' equity was Democrat presidential nominee Joe Biden.
The New York Post first broke the news of the contract proposed between CEFC China Energy Co. and Hunter Biden. A May 13, 2017 email outlined a provisional agreement for six people in an unspecified business venture. Hunter Biden, identified as "Chair / Vice Chair depending on agreement with CEFC," would receive 20% of the "equity," or shares in the new company and hold another 10% for "the big guy?"
Biden connected with the billionaire, Ye Jianming, chairman of CEFC, while Joe Biden was vice president.
The Post obtained the emails from a hard drive Rudy Giuliani obtained that purportedly belong to Hunter Biden. Giuliani, a personal lawyer to President Donald Trump, said he was given the hard drive by a Delaware computer repair shop owner.
The Post has published multiple reports this week about the revelations, including emails that suggest Hunter Biden made millions of dollars through China and Ukraine and that he tried to introduce his father, who at the time was in office, to high-ranking Ukrainians.
