Hillary Clinton warned President Donald Trump about calling for China and Ukraine to investigate former Vice President Joe Biden and his son, Hunter.

Trump had made his remarks while speaking to reporters on Thursday.

And it prompted this response on Twitter from Clinton: "Someone should inform the president that impeachable offense committed on national television still count."

Trump, while speaking outside the White House, had called on China to probe the Bidens.

"China should start an investigation into the Bidens," Trump said. The president noted he had not directly asked Chinese President Xi Jinping to investigate the Bidens, but said it is "certainly something we could start thinking about."

He also publicly acknowledged his message to Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelenskiy during a July call was to investigate the Bidens.
