Well, that didn't last very long.

Tea party group founder Ken Crow garnered media attention last week by announcing that he was spurning Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump for the sagging candidacy of Jeb Bush.

"I was on the Trump train, but enough is enough," Crow, founder of the Tea Party of America, told The Washington Times on Tuesday. "When is Trump going to act like a president? The answer is he's not."

But before the polls in South Carolina even closed on Saturday, Crow was back to issuing pro-Trump statements.

Just minutes before polls closed at 7 p.m., he tweeted:

On Monday, in the wake of Trump's dominant victory in the Palmetto State, Crow was hailing the real estate billionaire as the man who is "saving America":

"Trump is the outsider, he is the renegade that doesn't conform to the mold of a very plastic and polished politician," Crow wrote in an article on his website Monday.

"America[']s anger is being fulfilled with Donald J. Trump. The Tea Party is largely happy with him. Yes, there are parts of his past that give cause for concern, but they are being addressed. But make no mistake and do not gloss over the fact that America is performing a revolution at the moment."

"Fortunately, this is a peaceful one at the ballot box. If Trump doesn't win this and if Hillary [Clinton] or Bernie [Sanders] do and Congress doesn't stop Hillary or Bernie, you can pretty well count on a real revolution and this one won't be pretty."
