Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., on Sunday called for an investigation of the Department of Justice into any role Ukraine and the Biden family may have played in the 2016 election.

In an interview on Fox News’ “Sunday Morning Futures,” Graham said his demand is not any different than the call for special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation of Russia’s influence in 2016 and whether there was collusion by President Donald Trump.

“There are a lot of allegations out there how the Ukraine fed information maybe to the Democrats, the Department of Justice against Trump campaign managers and others, and I think it's fair after what the Trumps have gone through regarding Russia that somebody looked at the connection of the Bidens — while [Joe Biden] was a sitting vice president — the  Biden connection to the Ukraine through his son.”

“You can't have it one way, you can't look at one family and not the other,” he continued. “I don't trust the media to do this, I'm hoping somebody in the Department of Justice will appoint an investigator to look at all things Ukraine like we looked at all things Russia.”
