A new television ad paints Democrat Jon Ossoff as a Nancy Pelosi clone who goes against conservative values in the House race in Georgia.
The ad is by the Congressional Leadership Fund, a group aligned with Speaker Paul Ryan, R-Wis., the Washington Examiner noted.
In the spot, a man wearing a Pelosi and Ossoff campaign button says: "Pelosi and Ossoff? That's a dream team." A woman, standing on a street adds: "Ossoff and Pelosi want to weaken the military." A bearded man with braided pigtails, who is standing in front of Fisherman's Wharf in Pelosi's home district of San Francisco, adds: "It's not like we're at war or anything."
The spot then goes back to the woman on the street corner, who says: "Georgia, make San Francisco proud. Send Jon Ossoff to Congress."
Pelosi, the House minority leader, "knows Jon Ossoff will be a rubber stamp for her extreme liberal agenda, and that's the reason Bay Area liberals have contributed more to Ossoff's campaign than people in Georgia," CLF executive director Corry Bliss said.
Ossoff and Republican Karen Handel will face each other in a June 20th runoff in Georgia's 6th Congressional District, according to NPR.
