George Conway, the husband of White House senior counselor Kellyanne Conway, picked up his crusade against President Donald Trump, piling on more mental illness claims against his favorite foil.

He tweeted Wednesday midday:

"He lies because he's a sociopath, a con man — to deceive others. But he also lies because he's a pathological narcissist — to deceive himself, to protect his fragile ego from narcissistic injury.

Trump just cannot take the heat, per the lawyer:

"If you're president, you're going to be criticized even if you do the job perfectly. But Trump isn't up to the task. He acts incompetently, and irrationally."

He tweeted later in the afternoon:

"The media and the political establishment need to start asking the question: Is @realDonaldTrump's disordered mind spiraling into psychosis? Has it already?"

It should be noted George Conway is an attorney, not a medical professional – although he has frequently claimed disorders against the president, his wife's boss.

"He's unraveling," he tweeted. "He's becoming completely detached from reality. You can call it decompensation or psychosis, or just plain lunacy."

George Conway called the president a "deranged fool" in another tweet, linking to a copy of a letter to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan:

"Half the world is laughing, the other half terrified, that we have a deranged fool as a president and seem unable to do anything about it."

George Conway also made light of the letter as being worthy of The Onion, which is a parody website:

".@theOnion might as well shut down, because it can't do better than this."

Then, George Conway struck a more serious tone on his long-shared claims of the president being mentally ill:

"Are we ready yet to have a full national conversation about the diseased mental state of the president of the United States?"

George Conway continued playing doctor on Twitter minutes later:

"The possibility that he's suffering from dementia — on top of his narcissistic sociopathy and concomitant delusional thinking — ups the ante. We can't pretend these aren’t issues any longer."

Trump's presidential problems on Syria, impeachment, and obstruction all point back to mental health, according to the lawyer:

"But it's beyond politics now. @realDonaldTrump’s Syria debacle, and his impeachable acts both regarding Ukraine and in obstructing Mueller, all stem from his severe personality disturbances. And his mental state is clearly getting worse at a frightening rate."

George Conway also repeated in more tweets:

"The words of a delusional narcissistic sociopath."

And:

"Malignant narcissism in action."
