Texas Land Commissioner George P. Bush isn't yet saying whether he'll join other family members in declining to endorse presumptive GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump.

Bush's father, Jeb Bush, who ran against Trump, has said he won't endorse. So have former presidents George H.W. Bush and George W. Bush, who are the grandfather and uncle, respectively, of George P. Bush.

Trump hung the "low energy" label on Jeb Bush during the campaign, likely killing any chance of a Bush endorsement, though Trump says he can win with or without one.

George P. Bush addressed Lone Star Republicans on Thursday, The Dallas Morning News reports, but said nothing about whether he'd endorse or decline.

After his departure from the race, Jeb Bush ended up endorsing Texas Sen. Ted Cruz, a friend of George P. Bush, but George P. did not follow suit, the Morning News noted.

Republicans overall are split on Trump, with some arguing he is bringing more voters to the party, while others oppose his brash style and question whether he is really a conservative.
