The husband of White House senior counselor Kellyanne Conway struck back at President Donald Trump's rip of ex-President Barack Obama's "57 states" comment, rebuking Trump's ceaseless "witless prevarication" of all topics big and small.
"Needless to say, there's a huge difference between an isolated slip of the tongue and ceaseless, shameless, and witless prevarication on virtually all topics, large and small," the conservative lawyer and ceaseless critic of President Trump tweeted Friday.
George Conway's tweet was in response to President Trump's mocking of Obama mistakenly saying he had been to "57 states" in a country that has just 50 states – something he decried going underreported on by the "fake news media."
"When President Obama said that he has been to '57 States,' very little mention in Fake News Media," Trump tweeted late Friday night. "Can you imagine if I said that . . . story of the year! @IngrahamAngle."
George Conway has not held back on criticism of President Trump, despite his wife's position in the administration – something Kellyanne Conway has admitted to causing strain on their marriage, according to The Washington Post.
