Texas Rep. Pat Fallon told Newsmax TV on Wednesday that he traveled on a plane with migrants who were caught crossing into the United States illegally and were being sent to cities across America as part of the Biden administration’s immigration policy.
Fallon, who appeared on “Spicer & Co.” with fellow Rep. Pete Sessions, R-Texas, relayed his story of returning from visiting the Customs and Border Protection facility in Donna, Texas, on Tuesday with a delegation of a dozen other Texas Republican congressmen.
“I flew back to Dallas and half the plane had migrants on the plane,” Fallon said. “They had illegal immigrants. They had paperwork that said ‘Please help me. I don’t speak English. Where should I go to catch my connecting flight. And they had their itineraries on piece of the paper.
“And I thought to myself, ‘The American taxpayer is paying for this.’ These folks, apparently are not only being catch and release, they’re not even being given a summons to appear from what we’ve been told, they’re just releasing them into…Chicago, New York, LA. And I don’t know why. I’d like to have the Biden administration tell us, and show us a little accountability. What are you doing.”
Fallon also relayed a story he said was told to him by Rep. Beth Van Duyne, R-Texas, that the airport in McAllen, Texas, near the Donna facility was “full of folks from Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador, the illegals, and they were leaving to go to parts unknown.”
The 53-year-old congressional freshman representing Texas’ 4th Congressional District northeast of Dallas, said the Biden administration has surrendered control of the U.S.-Mexico border to the Mexican criminal cartels.
“The Mexican drug cartels are in charge of our border,” Fallon said. “It should be the federal government. It’s our task, our role, but we have punted it. We have made (them) the de facto rulers. They control it. And they’re the most evil people on the planet.
“You know what people don’t talk about. Most of these people came from Central America, the ones that Congressman Sessions and myself saw. Half of the women that make that journey illegally from Central America to the United States are raped along the journey. Estimates are as high as 80%. This is a travesty. It’s a humanitarian catastrophe, and it must be stopped.”
