More than 90 percent of major broadcast news media coverage of President Donald Trump has been negative over the past three months, a conservative press watchdog study shows.

The Media Research Center survey found relations between the president and press corps "as bad as they have ever been during the Trump administration," the Center's research director Rich Noyes wrote.

According to the survey, coverage of Trump on the ABC, CBS, and NBC evening newscasts in September, October, and November was 91 percent negative.

In September, there were just 31 pro-Trump statements on those network outlets compared with 359 negative statements, the survey found. In October, the number of positive statements grew to 41, while the negative statements rose to 435; and in November, there were 33 positive statements versus 320 negative statements, the survey found.

Noyes wrote the center's study of news in June, July and August found an identical 91 percent negative rate, "which means TV news is unchanged in its hostility toward the president."
