Fabrizio/McLaughlin Poll: Trump Leads All Swing States Now

By    |   Thursday, 10 October 2024 04:40 PM EDT

Former President Donald Trump revealed internal polling that shows him leading Democrat Vice President Kamala Harris in seven battleground states just 26 days before the Nov. 5 election.

The survey by pollsters Tony Fabrizio and John McLaughlin, delivered in a memo that Trump posted on his Truth Social account Thursday, showed the former president ahead in Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin.

The poll of 800 likely voters in each state taken Oct. 6-9 had a margin of error of +/- 3.5 percentage points.

Trump was ahead by 1 percentage point in Michigan, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin (49%-48% in each state), and North Carolina (48%-47%). He was up by 3 points in Arizona (49%-46%) and Nevada (50%-47%) and 5 points in Georgia (50%-45%).

"As you can see, President Trump holds an edge in all 7 Battlegrounds, including all the ‘Blue Wall' states," Fabrizio and McLaughlin wrote in the memo. "This data projected out would put President Trump at 312 Electoral votes. As importantly, President Trump is at or on the precipice of 50% in all of these states.

"Given today's high inflation data and Kamala Harris' admission that she would not have changed or done anything different than Joe Biden, we expect Trump's edge will only continue to solidify."
