Eric Trump: Founding Fathers 'Rolling in Their Graves'

Speakers at the Democratic National Convention have been busy taking shots at GOP nominee Donald Trump, his son Eric said Wednesday, but there has not been a "single mention of ISIS" from the stage.

"I saw one person who wasn't a career politician," Eric Trump told Fox News' "Fox and Friends" program Wednesday. "You know what I find sickening, of the 61 speakers, there wasn't a single mention of ISIS."

He pointed out that it was especially relevant becuase of the recent attack in France, where two attackers took hostages inside a French church during morning Mass and killed an 86-year-old priest by slitting his throat. The attackers were shot and killed by police, and the Islamic State group has claimed responsibility for the attack.

It is "such a shame," Trump said. "How are we going to defeat somebody we can't mention?"

Trump also said the speakers have not mentioned "the fact that we have $19 trillion worth of debt . . . Not once do they mention the fact that we have an education system that's ranked 30th in the world."

The Republican candidate's son also noted there has not been much time spent discussing the nation's veterans or trade imbalances with China and Mexico.

Trump said he also found it "interesting" that President Barack Obama spoke for the "first time" about cybersecurity when the Democratic National Committee was hacked.

"We deal with cyber security everyday in our country," Trump said. "It affects every corporation and business around the world these days . . . when you look at some of those WikiLeaks emails, and I read many of them, I found it perplexing how disgusting the tactics were behind the scenes.

Let's create fake job posts for the Trump Organization, only recruiting good-looking women. It takes a seriously sick individual to come up with this stuff."

If the nation's forefathers saw the antics, Trump continued, "they would be rolling in their graves. It is the worst part of politics."

Trump also denied that his father's business organization has ties with Russia, as Democrats are claiming while insisting Russia is behind the leaks of a trove of the party's emails.

"We don't have any properties in Russia or anything," Trump said. "I find it interesting, Russia has so little respect for our country."

After the Cold War, when President Ronald Reagan was in office, Russia had "tremendous respect" for the United States, he continued, but when it comes to Trump and Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton, Russia views them as "totally weak and ineffective leaders."

"Their willingness to go in and hack, if it was Russia, hack a major political party, the political party of the president of the United States, I think shows the level of disrespect that they have for America," Trump said. "The one thing I can tell you is my father will change that and change that very, very, very quickly."
