The House will need to determine how lawmakers who have self-quarantined after exposure to coronavirus will be able to vote on the massive $2 trillion stimulus bill passed by the Senate, Rep. Doug Collins, one of the lawmakers who had been self-quarantined, said Thursday.

"We're not going to be able to voice vote on the phone," the Georgia Republican told Fox News' "Fox and Friends." "That's not allowed...if someone calls for a recorded vote, then we are going to have to have to deal with that issue as well. We do not have the processes set up for a proxy vote or for remote voting, and that's something that's been talked about a lot, especially when you have members in New York and other places who can't leave from where they are anyway."

Meanwhile, Pelosi had been putting "ideological pills" in the stimulus bill because they knew the bill was going to have to pass.

"I'm glad to see she has overcome that, so this bill can get to the president's desk," said Collins.

Meanwhile, there are many ways lawmakers who can't come to Washington to vote on bills moving forward, said Collins, including proxy voting.

The current bill will get money to the people who need it most, he added, and what is not needed is that Pelosi or Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer rush into another spending bill.

"We need to make sure this is working and targeted like the president and Secretary (Steven) Mnuchin warned, and that's what we need to do first."

Collins added that his state of Georgia is doing as well as it can for now, but it also must be concerned about harvest season arriving soon, meaning it will need to be sure workers are able to get the food supply out.
