President Donald Trump announced in a Tuesday morning tweet that he will hold a briefing on the opioid crisis later in the day.
The announcement was part of a series of tweets the president sent early on Tuesday for the second straight day of his vacation. However, unlike his Twitter rampage on Monday which included repeated insults against individuals and the "fake media," as well as attempts to defend himself against criticism, Trump's latest messages were focused on issues.
The president started Tuesday by tweeting several items from "Fox & Friends" that touched on national and international events, including an update on the opioid crisis.
The president then commented on a few of the issues discussed on "Fox & Friends," including his announcement of the opioid briefing, as well as a tweet on the situation in North Korea.
Trump is vacationing in New Jersey, where Gov. Chris Christie is chairman of the president's opioid commission.
