President Donald Trump on Monday denied the results of a CNN poll that gave him a low approval rating, saying that the network releases “fake suppression polls.”

“So funny to see the CNN Fake Suppression Polls and false rhetoric,” Trump tweeted Monday morning.

“Watch for real results Tuesday. We are lucky CNN’s ratings are so low. Don’t fall for the Suppression Game. Go out & VOTE. Remember, we now have perhaps the greatest Economy (JOBS) in the history of our Country!”

The CNN poll showed Trump having a 39 percent approval rating and that Democrats hold a double-digit advantage, 55 percent to 42 percent, over the GOP on the eve of the 2018 midterm elections.

Trump also tweeted that "Law Enforcement has been strongly notified to watch closely for any ILLEGAL VOTING which may take place in Tuesday’s Election (or Early Voting). Anyone caught will be subject to the Maximum Criminal Penalties allowed by law. Thank you!"

The president has repeatedly claimed that voter fraud is a widespread problem, but his commission on election integrity could not prove that a high number of votes were cast illegally in the 2016 presidential election.
