Donald Trump said he has not ruled out speaking at the first night of the Republican convention, the presumptive candidate told "Fox & Friends."
He said he was in New York, but would fly to Cleveland to watch wife Melania Trump's speech during the first night's events.
"I may speak up," he said during the call-in. "I'd love to be there when my wife speaks. So the answer is yes. I will be there."
The comments are 9:40 into the call with the show.
The presumptive Republican presidential nominee joked with the hosts that he was keeping his appearance a secret — as he mentioned it on national TV.
"Under no circumstances can anybody know, that's right," he joked. "It'll be very exciting."
The theme of the first night of the convention is "Make America Safe Again," according to USA Today
Melania Trump's fellow speakers on the first night include "Duck Dynasty" CEO Willie Robertson, actor Scott Baio, Alabama Sen. Jeff Sessions, retired Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn, Iowa Sen. Joni Ernst, Montana Rep. Ryan Zinke, and veterans' affairs advisor Jason Beardsley, according to the convention site
