Financial records filed to Federal Election Commission by Donald Trump appear to show the presumptive GOP presidential nominee has a new business enterprise in Saudi Arabia — despite the fact he blames the Saudis for the 9/11 attacks.

According to Buzzfeed News, companies incorporated by Trump, including the THC Jeddah Hotel Advisor and DT Jeddah Technical Services Advisor, may be related to a possible hotel project in the city of Jeddah.

But London’s Independent newspaper reports that in February, Trump told Fox News: "Who blew up the World Trade Center? It wasn’t the Iraqis, it was Saudi – take a look at Saudi Arabia."

A month later, Trump said he would mull over stopping the buying of oil from Saudi Arabia unless the Saudi government fronted ground troops to battle the Islamic State.

The Independent said it has asked Trump's press office for comment.
