Trump Slams Dems For Criticizing 'Time, Scope' of FBI Probe into Kavanaugh

President Donald Trump slammed Democrats in a tweet on Sunday for their criticism of the FBI's investigation into sexual misconduct allegations against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh, saying the probe will "never be enough" for them.

"Just starting to hear the Democrats, who are only thinking Obstruct and Delay, are starting to put out the word that the 'time' and 'scope' of FBI looking into Judge Kavanaugh and witnesses is not enough," Trump wrote. "Hello! For them, it will never be enough - stay tuned and watch!"

Trump's remarks come hours after Democrats on Sunday talk shows questioned whether the White House was trying to control the FBI probe, The Hill reported.

NBC News reported that the White House counsel’s office gave the FBI a list of witnesses they are permitted to interview and that the agency could only investigate two of the three claims made against Kavanaugh and not those made by Julie Swetnick, who is represented by Michael Avenatti.
