Former President Donald Trump said Wednesday night he will reject funds to his campaign being made by donors who continue giving money to rival GOP candidate Nikki Haley's campaign.
"Anybody that makes a 'Contribution' to Birdbrain, from this moment forth, will be permanently barred from the MAGA camp," Trump wrote on his Truth Social page Wednesday night, reports Politico. "We don't want them, and will not accept them, because we Put America First, and ALWAYS WILL!"
Haley, replying to Trump on X, retorted: "Well in that case… donate here. Let's Go!" and gave a link to her fundraising page.
Trump's message came after his win over Haley in New Hampshire on Tuesday, marking the second time he's defeated her as the presidential primary season unwinds.
He and his supporters are pushing for Haley, who served as his ambassador to the United Nations from 2017 to 2018, to drop out of the race and throw her support behind him, but she vowed Tuesday night that the race for the GOP nomination is "far from over."
The next primary is in Haley's home state of South Carolina, where she served as governor, but almost all of the state's Republican lawmakers have thrown their support behind Trump.
Wednesday, Haley told a crowd in South Carolina that her campaign brought in $1 million, almost all through small-dollar donations, since Tuesday night's loss in New Hampshire.
"We have had 200,000 donors from all 50 states. Ninety-five percent of those donations are $200 or less," she said.
