The chairman of the House Intelligence Committee has given the FBI seven days to turn over unredacted documents that kicked off the Russia investigation.

According to The Hill, Rep. Devin Nunes, R-Calif., sent a letter to the FBI on Wednesday that carried an April 11 deadline. In it, he demanded original copies of a bureau document that outlined the probable cause to begin the counterintelligence investigation against members of the Trump campaign in 2016. Nunes also asked for unredacted copies of the four FISA warrant applications that were used to electronically eavesdrop on Trump campaign adviser Carter Paige.

The FBI previously provided Nunes and his committee with a copy of the source document that made the bureau's case for opening the investigation into claims the Trump campaign colluded with Russia, but it was heavily redacted.

Republicans and Democrats on the House Intelligence Committee released memos this year that summarized their findings in their Russia probe.

GOP members of the panel said they did not find any evidence of collusion. The committee's Democrats, however, vowed to continue their investigation of Trump.
