Rep. Byron Donalds, R-Fla., offered a critical assessment of Gov. Ron DeSantis' presidential campaign ahead of Monday's Iowa caucuses.
Donalds, who supports former President Donald Trump, told Fox News' "Sunday Morning Futures With Maria Bartiromo" that DeSantis has "invested the most into Iowa. They've been speaking a lot about this massive ground campaign that they've done there. But from every report, it just hasn't moved the needle."
Additionally, Donalds touched upon the campaign strategy of former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley. He pointed out that Haley is concentrating on the New Hampshire primary on Jan. 23, referring to the state as her "Holy Grail."
Donalds said: "They need to get within 10 points of Donald Trump in New Hampshire to give her an opportunity to even be able to go toe-to-toe with Donald Trump." He expressed skepticism regarding Haley's chances: "I just don't think it's going to happen."
